Reinforcing Structures
Quality fiberglass and graphite
structural reinforcements such as Honeycomb Panels, Flat Stock Laminates and
Tubing are integral in the design of automotive/aircraft tooling structures.
These light-weight support components are available in several temperature
ranges and serve as effective back-up structures in large and small tooling
applications.
Honeycomb Panels
Honeycomb Panels offer high strength-to-weight ratio for reduced weight in
tooling and fixtures. Face panels are high pressure bonded to commercial grade
perforated 3/8" cell aluminum core with bondable peel ply surfaces.
Honeycomb Panels are used for egg crating, stretch form supports, bonding jigs
and fixtures and autoclave applications.

Flat Stock Laminates
Flat Stock Laminates are ideal for mold work. Multiple layers of fiberglass or
graphite cloth are impregnated with an epoxy system and hydraulic press cured with bondable
peel ply surfaces. Flat stock laminates are used for bonding fixtures, tool
bases, egg crating, stiffening ribs and parts reinforcements for tooling.

Tubing
Structural tubing is hand-wrapped on mandrels in sizes ranging from 1" to
21/2" up to 8 feet in length. 90º and U-Cast Tubing has a solid urethane
machinable base attached to the tubing and is ideal for building automotive
tooling base structures. High and very high temperature tubing is available upon request.
