EC-426-2 Abrasion Resistant Die Surface Cast, Slow
Abrasion resistant, room temp systems developed for casting hard surface
tools and dies. Excellent air release. High physical properties. Detailed,
durable, void-free and dimensionally accurate duplications. Cast EC-426 up to
3/4" and EC-426-2 UP to 4" without excessive exotherm or shrinkage.
Use with ES-204, ES-204 SC when adding N-20 Bulk Aluminum Filler to
facilitate thicker castings.
EC-428
Aluminum Filled, Room Temp, Moderate
EC-428-1 Aluminum Filled, Room Temp, Slow
Cast up to 3/4" or 2-4", respectively. Will not settle during
shipment or storage. Designed for low exotherm curing to increase dimensional
stability with minimal shrinkage. High strength and durability. Use with ES-204,
ES-204 SC or ES-219 when adding N-20 Bulk Aluminum Filler for thicker castings.

EC-433-3 Aluminum Filled, High Temp, Medium
EC-433-4 Aluminum Filled, High Temp, Slow
Versatile systems developed for heat resistant tooling. Room temp (B stage)
hardening systems which require post cure for use above 66°C/150°F. Continuous
use of tools at 160°C/320°F and intermittent use up to 191°C/375°F, with
consistent strength and impact properties. Three systems offer the toolmaker
alternatives for casting thickness. Use with ES-219 Surface Coat when using N-20
Bulk Aluminum Filler for casting larger masses.
EC-439 High
Temperature, Unfilled
A low viscosity, unfilled epoxy casting system that can be used with a
variety of fillers for many different applications. This system offers a
moderate work life and heat resistance to 300° F after only a 150°F postcure. EC-429
is not designed for use as a stand-alone casting system. Use with ES-215 or ES-219.
EC-439
High Temperature/Ceramic Filled
A four component, ceramic filled epoxy casting that is designed to function
as a stand alone mass casting system, and can be used in place of more expensive
aluminum filled casting materials. EC-430 offers the user low CTE, high HDT,
long work life and excellent thermal conductivity. Can be used as a back up
material for nickel shell or behind high temperature epoxy surface coats. Use
with ES-215 or ES-219.
