Marine Fillers

Universal repair filler paste, the most versatile of all set fast filler pastes, Universal Repair Filler is a two component system that yields a smooth, creamy, thixotropic paste with superior handling characteristics and dimensional stability. Once applied, it cures to form a rigid repair that can be machined, sanded and worked to a feather edge. Universal Repair Filler will accept virtually all types of finishes without bleed out. Universal Repair Filler offers the industry substantial savings in time and labor in addition to providing a high quality finished repair.

Fiberbond Repair filler paste is a very creamy, fiberglass filled material developed for repairing large cracks and abrasions on your boat's deck, hull, keel or transom. The fiberglass reinforcement makes this system ideal for heavy duty jobs requiring increased impact strength and durability. Fiberbond Repair filler bonds readily to fiberglass, wood, metal and most plastics, and is water resistant, so it can be used with confidence above or below the water line.

No. 17 high heat resistant filler is a  high heat resistant glazing putty developed for repairing small cracks or minor surface imperfections in composite, aluminum or wooden boats. This thixotropic paste repair material exhibits very low shrinkage and upon cure can withstand temperatures to 446° F. No. 17 SMCR has excellent adhesion to most epoxy. polyester and vinylester composite materials as well as aluminum and wood, and will easily sand to a feather edge.

No. 77 high heat resistant filler and fairing compound offers the user a smooth and workable paste with set-fast curing characteristics to expedite repair and final finish applications. No. 77 is easier to sand than conventional fillers and will readily bond to fiberglass, SMC, FRP, epoxy, graphite and Kevlar composites as well as aluminum and wood. Heat resistance to 446° F.

No. 78 high heat resistant filler and fairing compound has all the same great characteristics of our No. 77 set-fast filler paste, but with a lower density and an extended work life that will allow the user to tackle larger areas in a single application. Excellent adhesion to fiberglass, SMC, FRP, epoxy, graphite and Kevlar. Heat resistance to 446° F. White

Marine 880 fine grade filler
(Cotton Flock)
A cotton flock filler used as a thickening agent to create a general purpose adhesive.

Marine 881 high density filler
(Milled Fiber)
A maximum strength filler designed as a thickening agent for hardware bonding. When mixed with epoxy, 881 can also be used filleting and gap filling where increased impact resistance may be needed.

Marine 882 universal thickening agent
(Cab-o-sil)
The most versatile of the marine fillers. Can be used as a thickening agent to prevent epoxy run off on a vertical surface, or with other fillers to control the working characteristics of the epoxy. Can be used for bonding, filleting, gap-filling, or increasing abrasion resistance.

Marine 883 low density filler
(Phenolic Microballoon)
Ideal for making lightweight putties for filleting, fairing and shaping. When used with our "no-blush" epoxies, creates a smooth, trowelable paste that cures to a sandable, paintable surface.

Marine 884 ultralight fairing additive
(Microbaloon Additive)
A low density filler for creating smooth, creamy fairing compounds when mixed with epoxy. 884 has excellent handling characteristics and is easily sanded when cured.
